This applies only to the SightMaxECS Enterprise - Popup chat window
Please follow these instructions to automatically check the "Email transcript" option in the PreChatSurvey.
The "email transcript" option is available in both PreChat and Post Chat surveys and the name of the field is called "VisitorEmailAddress".
For that field to be checked automatically you need to follow the instructions and modify the file on your server (dont modify the Survey in the Operator Console):
On the server, go to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\SightMax\AgentInterface\Scripts and open the file PrePostChat.js in Notepad.
Control+F to search for:
item.SendEmailTranscript = sQuery("#" + item.SendEmailHtmlID).prop("checked");
replace it with
item.SendEmailTranscript = sQuery("#" + item.SendEmailHtmlID).prop("checked", true);
Then save the file.
This enables the option "Would you like a transcript of the chat?" to be checked in both Pre and PostChat surveys.
